ASPs and healthcare clearinghouses offer a number of outsourcing and EDI services to payers. Remettra enables these entities to offer comprehensive payment and remittance distribution services to enhance their existing product offerings.And, Remettra will "co-brand" its web portal to have a consistent look and feel of the ASP/clearinghouse's own web portal(s).

HIPAA-mandated regulations require ASP/clearinghouse's healthcare payer clients to distribute electronic remittance advices to their network providers upon request. By offering the services provided by Remettra, ASP/clearinghouses will not only enable their clients to be compliant, but perhaps more importantly, will satisfy their strategic objectives. Remettra's system was developed for payers to have a total solution for payment and remittance distribution; however, if is flexible enough that payers can choose the services that meet their particular need. Those services include:

  • Print and mail distribution of payments and remittance advices/EOBs,
  • Electronic remittance advice distribution,
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) distribution of payments, or
  • Any combination of the proceeding.

    • Utilizing Remettra's system will enable ASP/clearinghouse's clients to completely outsource the mechanical aspects of their paper-based and electronic accounts payable process.
